Which kit fits which vehicle.
The Drive Reach OTR (477154) is the version built for semi trucks and other large vehicles. The standard Drive Reach (470154) fits cars, pickups, SUVs and vans. Both boost every carrier at once, 4G and 5G, for every phone and hotspot in the cab.
A booster amplifies the signal that reaches its outside antenna. If a phone held outside the truck shows no signal at all, there is nothing to amplify, and a cellular router with an external antenna is the better tool.
Why tow and service crews fit them.
Dispatch calls, scene photos, job notes and card payments all run on the driver's phone, and the calls that matter tend to come from rural highways and the edge of coverage. A booster in the cab keeps that phone connected wherever the truck goes.
